• Unplug the washer and shut off the water supply before beginning to install the replacement rotor position sensor


• To access the old rotor position sensor, disconnect the hot and cold water hoses and pull the end of the drain hose from the standpipe


• Tape the washer lid closed, then carefully lay the washer on its front panel


• Use a 1/4" Allen wrench to loosen the rotor mounting screw as far as it will go; the screw cannot be completely removed from the rotor
